I am hoping someone could help me figure out what to do in this scenario and I am hoping I have chosen the right forum.
We have 2 sites one in north America and one in Asia that have a secure tunnel setup between them for communications.
We are running server 2016 on all our domain controllers and same domain name on both sites.
Because of our workflow we have 2 servers with different names that do the same thing on both sites.
The issue is in all the workflow scripts (we are mostly a Linux house) there is a separate A record created which we would need to point to both servers and we don't want clients on NA contacting the server in Asia to pull info or vise versa.
We do have sites and services setup with 2 different sites with all subnets added to the right site and in dns we do have round robin and netmask ordering check marked.
Does anyone have any suggestion how to make sure traffic goes to the right site. I have added some ex IPs below for the servers in discussion.
NA server: 172.16.127.123
Asia server: 172.16.40.321
