We develop a software application that user Microsoft message queue and requires Active Directory integration and Public Queues. The old documentation used to state that the MSMQ feature had to be installed on the primary domain controller for Active directory integration. The current documentation just says that the installation must be in the domain.
Some of our current clients are saying that our documentation that follows the old Microsoft requirement of installation on the PDC is incorrect and that they want to install on a secondary domain controller. We have done extensive testing on this and have been unable to get the public queues and active directory integration to work unless we install on the PDC. Is this actually correct or are we doing something wrong.
