Thanks for your help in advance, I am configuring a lab network, And while following all the instructions; It seems like I have hit a wall. When trying to authorize the DHCP server I am prompted with an error that an no explanation or suggestion simply saying:" The DHCP service could not contact Active Directory Service".
The Following is my Setup: I am running windows 10 professional with a VMWare WorkStation. I have installed 2 instances of windows Server 2016 running. In one instance I have added the following roles: Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. the other has no roles. I have researched everywhere, But it seems like every one who presented the similar problem has had a different or rather custom problem. Can Anyone tell me why I am the DHCP service in this case is not contacting Active Directory ?
