There's a Windows Server 2008R2 RRAS server that had been working fairly well for several years but started to bump into the strange issue a couple of months ago: remote users would not get disconnected once they end their remote sessions:
As you see users continue to be listed in the RRAS console as active users although they have already ended their sessions.
The second - and the much bigger - problem is that I can't disconnect any users using the Disconect command in the console (nothing happens), I can't disconnect a user in the netsh either (set client -name disconnect).
I even can't restart the RRAS - it hangs if there are such users in the console.
No errors in the logs (at least I haven't found them so far).
Presumably this problem will not arise if the clients use PPTP - it seems that only IKEv2 connections are affected.
Would anybody suggest anything on the issue?
