We have recently deployed a Windows Server 2019 RRAS Server with AlwaysOnVPN Device Tunnels configured.
All is working well apart from intermittently we are seeing multiple devices disconnecting at the same time. Not all devices are disconnecting but quite a large portion at times.
Example of some client side event logs below;
Tunnel which has terminated. The reason code returned on termination is 829

Log Name: Application
Source: RasClient
Event ID: 20226
We have seen a mixture of 829 and 828 on occasion.
The users in question either disconnect/reconnect the tunnel to get the connection re-established or restart their devices to get re-connected. From the RRAS server we can see from the RASTAPI.log that the number TotalDialInClients drops within in a matter of seconds.
An example below, within 10 seconds a number of clients disconnected.
15:07:20:167: WAN Miniport (IKEv2) InClients=138, TotalDialInClients=138
15:07:30:527: WAN Miniport (IKEv2) InClients=77, TotalDialInClients=77
Additional detail from logs below;
15:07:30:496: RasTapiCallback: lineGetCallStatus for VPN2-52 returned 0x4000
15:07:30:496: RasTapiCallback: DisconnectReason mapped to 2
15:07:30:496: RasTapiCallback: LINECALLSTATE - initiating Port Disconnect
15:07:30:496: InitiatePortDisconnection: VPN2-52
Can anyone advise on what the issue might be? Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
