Changing IP of a Domain Controller

Hi, I am planning to change the IP address of a DC. Below is the detail:

  • This DC is staying on the same site
  • This DC host ADDS, DNS, DHCP, Bridgehead of a site.
  • This DC is not hosting any FSMO roles.
  • This DC host a hub transport role for mailbox migration between EXCH 2003 & EXCH 2010
  • This is a W2K8R2 DC.

My question are:

  • Is it a good idea to migrate the DHCP role to another W2K8R2 boxes before changing the IP? My concerns is DHCP clients during the changes but it seems there is no good way to do Standby or Active/Active DHCP role...
  • Will it be like other member had mention, simply change the IP and restart the box....reregister the IP to DNS....

Thanks
