Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum. I had a problem twice in two weeks time where our NIS Service on Windows 2008 R2 just stopped working.
I would like to know, if possible:
1. How can I monitor this service. It seems it is wrapped into svchost.exe -k NisSvc
2. How can I make this servoce more resilient?
Our NetApp depends on NIS to mapp Users and groups between Linux and Windows.
If anyone could share some info, I would very much appreciate.
