Hello... I have Server 2008 R2 as a standalone server and not part of a domain. It has RRAS enabled for VPN connectivity. User from external offices are connecting to it successfully, however, when they attempt to use QuickBooks it would appear that the ports needed to establish a connection are being blocked. The firewall on the server has been configured correctly and users within the main office can connect to QB without a problem.
Does RRAS need to have the ports forwarded or allowed rather? I did attempt to add inbound and outbound filters for the proper ports, however, when I did I lost my remote connection to the server.
Any help understanding this would be greatly appreciated.
