Server 2008 R2 - Multiple Default Gateways - manually set metrics

Hi,

Server 2008R2 PDC, single DHCP scope.

I want to add a second gateway to my 003 Router setting in my scope.

Already have 192.168.1.1 as my main DG, and i want to add in 1.251, as a failover incase 1.1 is unavailable.

However when i add it in, Windows gives both DG entries the same metric of 25 which causes routing issues as its sending some packets through the 251 GW.

Can i set the DCHP scope at server level to give the standby DG .251 a higher metric that the primary DG 1.1, rather than have to change every workstation manually in the NIC properties?
