Hey guys,
I'm a bit new to this, so sorry for the newbie question.
But I'm wondering if it's possible to mix standard dns zones with AD integrated zones on the same dns server ?
I'm trying to figure out this assignment for schoolwork.
Say I have one AD integrated dns zone for contoso.local, a standard primary for lecture.com, a standard secondary for agents.com and a standard secondary reverse for agents.com on the same dns server. Is this possible?
I've been searching for a long time now, reading up on dns...but can't figure this thing out.
This dns server is also on its own subnet and should give name resolution for two client computers that are on their own separate subnets, all connected by a router. So I have to figure out what to do with this network to make them able to communicate with each other.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks guys.
