I have 2 networks in 2 different cities that are interconnected using Cisco Gateway to Gateway VPN.
The VPN works fine, no issues, networks are connected just fine.
The problem is, when I do a file transfer from one network to the other using SMB, the transfer starts at the proper speed of the connections, but after a few seconds, it drops/stops, it will generally start again after a little time, but the transfers are painfully slow.
I've disabled autotuning, disabled RSS, nothing seems to help.
If I connect directly to the RRAS server, transfers run fine.
If I transfer using anything else not SMB, the transfers are fine.
Any ideas?
