Windows 2008 R2 + DNS + Name resolution for the name timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

Hi Guys

This is the most weird issue i ever had.

I have 3 domain controllers with integrated DNS zone.

When i am trying to perform ipconfig /registerdns name is not being registered and in system log i am getting:

Name resolution for the name <domain FQDN> timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

When performing nslookup on domain FQDN all 3 servers are being returned.

dcdiag /test:dns /v - is fine every test has status passed.

Overall domain resolution works - the only problem is with registration (is set to secure only).

There are no replication problems in domain.

Did any of you had similar issue?

Michał
