Recently changed from a 2003 AD integrated DNS infrastructure with forwarders to a 2008 R2 AD integrated infrastructure with conditional forwarders set.
In 2003 I was able to specifically set "Do not use recursion for this domain" as a tick box. In 2008R2 the Server properties forwarders tab has "Use root hints if no forwarders are available", which I understand is the ticked equivalent of unticking the "do not use " option in 2003.
However, this is only for the server wide forwarders, I can't see anywhere to enable recursion per e conditional forwarders in the properties of each conditional forwarder DNS Domain. Can I no longer set Domain specific recursion behaviour in 2008R2?
