Hello Everyone,

i can't find anything related to setting up an always on VPN Failover Cluster!

i'd like to use my fortigate as a load balancing hardware so that my AOV clients can switch to the second RRAS server if the connection to the first is interrupted.

pretty simple setup really but i can't make it work...

i have 2 RRAS servers setup as AOV servers. i can connect to each one individually but the switch has to be manual, i have to disconnect the client manually and reconnect it so that i switch to the second server. disconnecting the network card does't even disconnect the AOV connection it just stays connected to nothing basically

anyone have any ideas on how to set this up ?

I am seeing a duplicate MAC Address warning in EV System Log. I understand from other forum articles these are warnings and that they can be ignored. I would like to suppress the warnings however. I know I can change the MAC address in the properties of the Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Driver. My concern in my situation is that the GUI properties of the Multiplexor Driver and the output of the PowerShell Get-NetAdapter command show different MAC addresses for the MS Network Adapter Multiplexor. I have a server with a several IPs :

192.168.1.1

192.168.1.2

192.168.1.3

the source IP is of this server is the lowest: 192.168.1.1 and all works fine

but when i added another IP: 192.168.1.4 the server stopped communicate with other server and i had tomanually set up the source IP to 192.168.1.1 and everything is working fine again

But why that? if the lowest IP is the source what went wrong when i added 192.168.1.4 ?
