I find myself being more and more involved with Windows based DNS so I am in the process of setting up a lab to better learn from an administration point of view.
That said I am curious as to the best method for the following type of setup
Domain A: maryland.local - Runs 2008 R2 One DNS server/One Domain Controller
Domain B: virginia.local - Runs SBS 2011 One DNS Server/One Domain Controller
Domain A connects to Domain B via site to site VPN
I want to make it so you can ping by name workstations under domain A when connected to network Domain B
I am assuming I would be utilizing forwarders for this type of request.
I am also currently looking into whether I want a stub zone or a secondary zone
Appreciate any input on this
