Rename network adapter in Win 2k8 R2 SP1

Dear All,

I'm searching a solution to rename a Network Adapters device name in Win 2k8 R2 Sp1.

So, I have two servers in a failover cluster and i want that in the device manager the NICs having the same name in both servers.

for example, in the first server, NIC 1 is named HP NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter #1 and NIC 2 is named HP NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter #2 but in the second server, NIC1 is named NIC 1 is named HP NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter #3 and NIC 2 is named NIC 1 is named HP NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter #1.

How can I change this configuration? I would like that both servers have the same interface devices name.

NIC 1 - NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter #1
NIC 2 - NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter #2
