I am planning to install adobe flash and java software's thorough group policy.
i downloaded adobe flash .msi package and tried assigning it to computers in my lab environment .but it's not working.
Steps done :
1.created a shared folder and assigned required permissions ( for now i gave full control to all the users).
2.copied the .msi package to that shared folder.
3.created a group policy object and assigned it to a OU.
4.used gpupdate /force command for the policy to get into effect.5.
5.restarted the client computer ( in our case now it's windows server 2008 server ).
my questions :
1) how to check whether the software has been installed on the client computer ?
2) how the software assign package works ?
3)can we check any logs regarding this ?
