Using Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials:
1. When I add my laptop to the domain it gets configured to use only the server ip address for the DNS. Which is fine when i am at home.
2. When i leave the house and try to get on any other wifi i always sit frustrated wondering why the internet will not work until i remember "Oh the dns is set to the static ip at home".
3. Is there a way to set my client pc(s) especially the mobile ones to always "obtain automatically". Does it work per connection? I don't mind my home wifi connection using the static IP but when i leave it would be nice to have all other wifi connects that i add use the automatic setting.
