Hiya All
I have a Dell Proliant DL380p Gen8 server. This server has 4 NICs. We are (will be) using this server as an Exchange 2013 server.
What I was thinking, was to assign static IPs to each NIC and bridge them (little bit of fault tolerance and maybe a tad of bandwidth increase). Is this even worth doing?
Also, I played with the NIC Teaming, it just seems that once I get the Team set up (another setup where I will be using two separate switches); however, it seems once I get the team set up - whether all NICs are plugged into one switch or multiple - I lose internet connectivity (LAN connectivity still seems ok though). What am I doing wrong there?
