Do I need to have a Certification Authority to use DirectAccess on Windows Server 2012 with Windows 8 Clients?

I am looking to setup a DirectAccess Server for Windows 8 clients to connect remotely.  This is a new area for me and I'm just now in the planning stages.  I have the Remote Access Role installed on a Hyper-V virtual machine running Windows Server 2012 Standard.  I have been reading a lot on this topic and I have found many examples of different setup scenarios.  One thing that I'm still not clear on is the whole Certification Authority thing.  I read that as long as I'm only going to connect with Windows 8 Enterprise clients, I do not need to setup a CA or setup a PKI.  Is this correct? Just want to verify whether or not I need a CA.

Nate
