Hello i need help please if anyone would be so happy to give step by step help here !
ok i have two router one main ISP router with a local ip address range of 192.168.1.1(D link with stock firmware)
and then i have a second router which is Asus Router with custom DD-WRT firmware(v24-sp2 03-25-13 mini)
and i have them connected through the local LAN port on my ISP router and i than i have it connected through my WAN port on my Asus Router.
and then on the ISP Router i have set a LAN static ip address which is 192.168.1.8 for the Asus WAN IP Address.
and then on the Asus router i have the private ip address useing 10.0.0.x but also on the asus router i set up a window server 2012 that does my DHCP,DNS,AD and i have a domain on their called AP3SERVER.com so the DHCP on my actully phyical ASUS router is OFF all the DHCP is handed by the window server 2012 OS now i do have static ip address set for my window server 2012 which by the way is a TYPE 2 VirtualBOX which has a static ip address of 10.0.0.2 and then i have my phyical server running window 7 ultimate that has a static private ip address of 10.0.0.1 and everthing that connect to my wireless network (ASUS router) is control by the DHCP on my server
Ok now since you know a little bit of my set up here i will tell you what i want to do ok so remember i have Domain with a domain controller which the domain is called AP3SERVER.com now what i want to do is being able to create USERS and set group policy permisson etc ( which i can already do by the way) but i want to be able to Access my DOMAIN OUTSIDE my Network useing a VPN so my users will and group policy will automatic follow me no matter where i go and if i remote in to my server and change a GPO i want to be able to have a VPN to my local home network ( ASUS router) so it will automatically update my GPO setting and everthing but i dont know how do make a VPN go from the internet through my (ISP router FIRST) to my second ( Asus Router) where all my computers and my server 2012 are on do i port forwarding ?? i have try everthing and i dont exactly know what a gateway and where you get all then username for VPN or anything !!! and please give me step by step on how to do it please !! help would be very much APPRECIATED why i still have my hair left LOL please reply ASAP thank you very much have a great day!!!
and one more part before i forget i want to be able to use the default vpn connect built into windows os and NOT a third party vpn services cause i want to be able to connect to the VPN before i log into the user name for the domain can update first !!
