Routing and Remote Access: No Ping after configuring RRAS

Hello All

I have configured a VPN on windows server 2012 R2, I have 2 Network adapter cards, Card1 for Internal with non routable IP and Card2 is for external with public IP.

I have Cisco Linksys Smart Wi-Fi: VPN Passthrough is enable, PPTP Port 1723 is on with GRE Port 47 on linksys router.

Problem:

After configuring Routing and Remote Access Service I cannot ping my External IP network Card, Ping result says: General Failure, General Failure, General Failure, General Failure.

If I disable Routing and Remote Access i can ping my external ip on the same server.

And when I try to access my VPN locally, I can access it without any problem, but when I try to access VPN from outside it give me 807 VPN Error.

Windows Firewall is disabled on server 2012 machine. Symantec Endpoint Protection (unmanaged) is installed on the server machine but i have disable it, and also created a firewall rule to allow all traffic on all network adapters.

I will appreciate if someone kindly help me to resolve my issue in VPN, sometime it works fine and on the next day it stop working and stop ping external ip.

Sometimes I can't ping my external ip, but VPN works fine when I access it from out of the office.

Thanks,

Ali
