For a DirectAccess multi-site deployment, Microsoft documentation indicates that the "closest" entry point will be selected but nothing points to how this is determined. We have 2 DA servers, one in North America and the other in Europe. Some users (all Windows 8) are complaining that they connect to the wrong server.
Does anyone know what algorithm is used to determine the closest server? What could cause incorrect selection?
