We have 1 domain with 4 AD sites. Sites 3 and 4 cannot talk to each other and need to talk to site 1 and 2 for AD replication.
As the previous admin didn't create any site links in AD - Site 3 and 4 assumed they could talk to each other and generated a replication connection in AD Sites & Services.
I have now created site links to resolve this however the broken connections are still there... I thought they would update automatically after 15 minutes... its been 12 hours
Do I need to delete the existing connections and let the KCC/ISTG recreate them?
