I have DC with an active directory integrated zone.
Currently it seems to have lost the active directory intergrated zone. the DNS MMC is empty and requires me to connect to
the server which is non existent.The forward lookup zone is empty. There is literally nothing except for the fact that dns is installed.
All the fsmo roles are on this single server. The machine is running server2012 and functional level is Windows Server 2008R2
It has error ID 4000.
As a result it seems all other functions of the AD are not functioning anymore including RPC
