automatically establish a vpn connection !

hi all

i have a need  :  i need a pc in my lan , every day at a time , automatically starts a vpn connection to a server , upload some files via ftp  and 15 min later , automatically disconnect that vpn connection. 

how can i achieve this goal ?  ( my problem is how automatically establishing a vpn connection at a specific time )
