I've introduced our first 2008 R2 server last week and this week, I'm trying to move some of the services off of a previous 2003 server to the 2008 server. I've exported the dhcp database using netsh commands, DHCP was already installed, and I imported the database using netsh. I've run wireshark on both the client and the server. The client does show dhcp discover packets and shows one request, but no offer or acknowledge. Also, I see none of these on the server packet capture.
DHCP Server is authorized, scopes are active and I see no errors in EventViewer. I also see nothing of note in the dhcp logs.
