AD - A record created as static and PTR record not created for Server 2008 R2

Facts:
- Mixed 2003 / 2008 R2 domain.
- Multiple zones - each with their own server and DNS server.
- DNS is integrated into AD and all zones set to "Secure Only"

Problem is with the latest site, which is 2008 R2.

The DNS server itself property registers its own A record.  However, it shows as "static" vs having a timestamp (like all my other servers).  And, it does not automatically check the "Update associated pointer (PTR) records".

Any ideas why?  Please let me know if you need any more info.
