I am trying to setup a server and I'm having a problem getting both NICs to work. The one with a static IP facing the internet works fine, but the one facing the switcher on the internal network does not seem to want to work I have it setup as follows.
IP Address 192.168.0.59
Subnet 255.255.255.0 (Same Subnet Mask as the internet card could that be a problem?)
Gateway 192.168.0.1
DNS 192.168.0.1
When I looked in Server Manager under Routing and Remote Access / Network Interfaces the NIC doesn't even appear in the list. The Network Connections shows it as a Local connection which I believe should be correct as I don't have it connected to the Internet
only to the Internal LAN Switcher.
