Workstation can't be pinged. Everything worked fine before a boot failure which was repaired using the Boot Repair options from a win 7 pro (this os) bootable flash drive (possible root cause may have been a virus which has since been eradicated). Been at this for days. The workstation is DHCP, and always was. The AD server is windows 2003 and has always had that user in the Active Directory, it acts as DHCP server.
Running: Ipconfig /all
Shows that the autoconfigured IPv4 for that nic is the default "no-connection" IP: 169.254.200.200
Any troubleshooting ideas or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
