I had RRAS installed on server 2008 R2 DC for inbound VPN connectivity. I have since moved the services to a new (non-DC 2012) machine and removed RRAS from the 2008 R2 server. It is now sometime later, and I am just noticing that the IP address
assigned to the RRAS adapter is still showing in the machine. To be specific, it shows up in ipconfig under "PPP adapter RAS (Dial In) Interface:" and I can ping it from network-attached machines. I believe this adapter may be causing
some problems we have beeen experiencing, and I need help getting rid of it. I have verified that RRAS was uninstalled (go to remove roles and "Network Policy and Access Services (Not Installed)" is greyed out with no check).
I have gone into the network adapters screen and no such adapter is shown. What is the best way to delete this adapter?
