Hi All,
Once in a while when we lose power, the switch which is not on generator shuts off. All servers remain running. However, as the DHCP server no longer sees the DC, it issues the following error:
The DHCP service failed to see a directory server for authorization.
Now, even after the power is restored and the switch is available again, the DHCP server no longer issues addresses. I have to manually restart the DHCP Server service for it work again. No errors are recorded in its log file. Is there a way for it to re-authorize with the DC automatically once network is restored?
